Eleanor wants a child. Richard would oblige if he could, but he's too busy running the Dead Funny Society.
When British comedy heroes Frankie Howerd and Benny Hill turn up their toes in the same week the society gather for a celebration of hilarity and laughter. But Eleanor’s grin masks a grimace.
When your marriage is deader than either Morecambe or Wise it's hard to see the funny side of things.
Terry Johnson’s “Painfully funny and funnily painful” (The Times) comedy, Dead Funny returns for a strictly limited season with Katherine Parkinson (The IT Crowd, In The Club, Humans), Steve Pemberton (The League of Gentleman, Benidorm, Whitechapel), Ralf Little (The Royle Family, Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, The Cafe), Emily Berrington (The Inbetweeners 2, Humans, 24) and Rufus Jones (W1A, Hunderby, The Casual Vacancy).

Absolutely hilarious and all actors were great. Time went very quickly. Would recommend if you like a laugh
Very funny and excellent performances .
Really good fun. Excellent acting from all of the cast.
Not! The days when the word "puftah" is used to encourage laughs, I thought, were long over. The play was too long and the characters did nothing to interest me in the show.
Loved this play. Good seats and excellent acting. Glad I booked it.
I believe that comedy is the hardest type of theatre to be successful at. Kudos!
A great show with lots of laughs. Fantastic journey of emotions as you discover the backgrounds of the characters. Moments to make you cringe, moments to make you cry, but mainly moments to make you laugh!
Hilarious!! Like a Brian Rix farce!!! Escapism. Great to be reminded of past comedy characters ??
Brilliant show. Lol. Evening flew past
Very funny indeed. Had enough in-jokes from the 80's genreation but not so much that it couldn't be enjoyed by a younger audience too. The theatre itself was great too. Just the right size for such an intimate performance... if you know what I mean ;-)
I was not able to see the show because our train was cancelled. The theatre were happy to swap the tickets for an evening show but londontheatresdirect.com refused to change them. Over £250 for my dads Christmas present wasted. Thanks for the good customer service londontheatresdirect.com
It was OK but not the best show I have seen
