After two UK tours, a season in New York which won her a Drama Desk nomination, a Berlin season and a visit to the Cabaret Festival in Adelaide, Dillie Keane is revisiting her solo cabaret show one last time before taking time out to write a new show.
Love in all its forms is examined in songs both hilarious and painful. As she says herself in the show, love is the most fascinating thing for a songwriter to write about, because we human beings make it such a battleground. And because the heart is never reliable and relationships shift and change, Keane keeps on skewering the follies of human beings with customary precision and a wicked understanding of our frailties and idiocies. Dammit, the woman can't stop writing.
Expect something old, something new, something borrowed, and certainly just a bit blue.
